Who this is for
Owners facing a specific repair — a leak, a failed boiler, a cracked facade, a bathroom at the end of its life — with no way to judge the price or the result from abroad.
What is included
- Site visit within the agreed window, with photographs of the fault and its context.
- A written scope of work describing exactly what is to be done.
- Two or three contractor quotes priced against that single scope.
- A side-by-side comparison in English, with our recommendation and the reasoning behind it.
- Scheduling and access: we let the trades in and lock up after them.
- Stage checks during the work, photographed at each one.
- A snagging list at completion, and sign-off only once it is cleared.
- The contractor invoice checked against the agreed scope before you pay it.
What is not included
- The cost of the work, materials and VAT, which you pay to the contractor directly.
- Structural design, static calculations or architectural drawings.
- Permit applications and dealings with authorities.
- Acting as your representative in an insurance claim.
Where a trade is scarce in your zone, two quotes may be the realistic maximum. We say so rather than delay the work waiting for a third. Single steps — an inspection, a tender, a stage check, a final acceptance — can also be bought on their own; the pricing page lists each one.
